COMPANY HISTORY
Galerie au Chocolat was founded in Montreal in 1985. In the early days
the company’s focus was on producing premium chocolate corporate gifts.
Over the years the company evolved into one of North America’s best
sources for quality private label and specialty chocolates for the
retail industry.
From its inception, the company has grown to employ 40 full-time staff
and up to 30 seasonal workers, and occupies 30,000 sq.ft. of
manufacturing and warehousing space.
In addition to its wholesale business, the company now has two factory
outlets to service the public – the original factory outlet store in Montreal, the other in Quebec
City. |

We offer an extensive variety of barks, clusters, cream-based ganaches,
pralines and truffles; we have something for everyone. |
We do not use preservatives. We use 35% whipping cream, unsalted premium
butter and other natural ingredients. Some of our chocolates have very
short shelf lives. Purchase our chocolates to consume them, not to store
them. It is better to purchase small quantities more often than to
purchase large quantities and store them for long periods of time. |

We operate in the United States under the brand name Jelina Chocolatier.
